Addie Pierce

Addie South Pierce passed away peacefully at her home in Topping, Virginia on June 11, 2013. She was 77. Addie was a devoted wife, sister, mother and grandmother. She was a member of Harmony Grove Baptist Church. Addie loved her church, flower gardens and the peacefulness of the river. She is survived by her husband Roland of 59 years, daughter Kathi Fitzke and Donny and son Jamie Pierce and Lynda. She also leaves behind a sister, Marian Ball, and four grandchildren, Jason and Daniel Fitzke, and Harrison and Savannah Pierce. She also leaves behind many family, friends, and her 2 beloved dogs Inky and Sophie. The family will receive friends at the Bristow-Faulkner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Saluda on Thursday from 5 to 7 pm. Other times at the home. The funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Friday, June 14, 2013 at Harmony Grove Baptist Church conducted by Dr. Roger Collier. The church is located at 7722 General Puller Highway, Topping, Virginia, 23169. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Harmony Grove Baptist Church, P.O. Box 138, Topping, VA, 23169.
