Agnes Lewis

Agnes Dean Lewis, 90, of Elizabeth City, NC passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2023. She was born on August 2, 1933, and raised in Bohannon, Virginia to William and Emma Daniel. Agnes retired after 43 years of service from the Virginia Institute of Marine Science in Gloucester Point.

She is survived by her son Kenneth Lewis, Jr.; grandchildren, Paul Lewis and Michael Lewis and great-grandchildren, Nick Millen and Nicole Lewis.

The family will receive friends from 10-11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 17, 2023, at Faulkner Funeral Homes, Foster-Faulkner Chapel, Mathews, with a Celebration of Life service to follow immediately at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Windsor Gardens Cemetery, Dutton, Virginia.
