A.J. Hurst

A.J. Hurst, 81, of Bavon, Va. passed away on Thursday, October 27, 2016 at his home. A. J. was a life- long waterman who was very well known to everyone. He loved crab potting and his boat the "Miss Norma." He was preceded in death by his parents Mr. and Mrs. Arthur James Hurst, Sr. He is survived by his wife Thelma, his daughter Darlene Davis (Hoopy), grand-daughter Lana Booth (James), two great grand-daughters Makayla and Makenzie Booth, a very special nephew Wayne Hudgins and his beloved dog Sandy. A Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 30, 2016 at Foster-Faulkner Funeral Home, Mathews, Va. from 5:00 – 8:00 pm. Funeral Service will be on Monday, October 31, 2016 also at the funeral home at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at St. Paul Annex Cemetery, Susan, Va.
