On Friday January 25, 2013, the Almighty liberated Alice Ann Mae Foley from her suffering to join him in Paradise.
Alice was born almost 56 years ago in New York City to James and Teresa Foley. The temple that housed her beautiful soul will be interred between her parents on Saturday, following a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Denis Church in Hopewell Junction, NY.
Left to cherish her memory are her brother Tom Foley and his wife Mary Louise of Saluda, both of whom attended Alice at the end. Alice resided with Tom and Mary for over 9 years.
A Vigil and Parting Service will be held at the Foley home in Saluda for invited friends. Tom Foley will officiate, supported by his sister Catherine Leo and her husband Jim.
Alice is survived by a number of siblings and many nieces and nephews as well as great- nieces and great- nephews, all in New York.
The Family is grateful for the courtesies and kindnesses shown to Alice by Dr. Robusto and his staff, the folks at Marshall’s Drug Store, and the angels from Visiting Angels. They are equally grateful to the staff at Riverside Walter Reed and Brookside Home Health as well as Dawn Russell of the Community Services Board. They are especially grateful for the prayers and ministrations of the Church of The Visitation.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Church of The Visitation, PO Box 38, Topping, VA 23169.
Arrangements are being handled by Bristow-Faulkner in Saluda and by McHoul Funeral Home in Hopewell Junction, NY.
