Allen Noel Strigle, 73, of Bavon, died Tuesday, March 2, 2021.
Allen was a member of Beulah United Methodist Church and had been chairman of the Administrative Board for 30 years and a Sunday school teacher for many years. He was the past Master of the Oriental Lodge #20 AF&AM, Mathews. He retired in 2007 from Newport News Shipbuilding and Drydock Co. as an electrical design engineer after 40 years of service. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam conflict.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Kay H. Strigle; his son, David Allen Strigle (Dana); two grandchildren, Logan and Lauren; brother, Earl Strigle, and sister, Paulette Ellington.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Ruth Strigle.
A visitation will be held beginning at 1 p.m. Sunday, March 7 in Beulah United Methodist Church, New Point, followed by the funeral at 2 o’clock. Burial will be at the St. Paul Annex Cemetery, Susan. Masks and social distancing will be required for the services due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
