Andrew" Andy" Arthur Olson, 82, of Hudgins, Virginia, passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2014. He was retired from the US Coast Guard. He is predeceased by a son, Bennett Olson. He is survived by his wife, Mary Olson; 3 daughters, Maureen Olson, Kathleen DeForge (Doug) and Eileen Emerson; 2 sons, Andrew Kelley Olson and Sean Olson (Virginia); 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 from 10 – 11 a.m. at the Church of Francis de Sales, Mathews, Virginia followed by a Funeral Service at 11 a.m. Burial will follow after the service at the Church of the Visitation, Topping, Virginia. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in his memory to the Church of Francis de Sales, 176 Lovers Lane, Mathews, Virginia 23109 or to the Mathews Volunteer Fire Dept. P.O.
