Ann Brooks Davis

Ann Brooks Davis, 92, of Tappahannock, Va. passed away Saturday, December 14, 2024. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin “Neale” Davis, Jr. and her parents, Johnny and Martha Brooks all of Tappahannock, Va. 

Ann is survived by her two daughters, Brenda (Wayne) Talley of Mechanicsville, and Pat (Jody) Parr of Tappahannock; four grandchildren, Christy (Joe) Fulcher-Sullivan, Shannon (Keith) Davis, Chas (Becky) Thalhimer, and Katie (Brandee) Parr; six great-grandsons, Ian, Logan, Parks, Gavin, Talan and Cameron; two great-granddaughters, Jordon and Taylor; one great-great-grandson, Graham; two brothers, Dickie (Vivian) Brooks and J.W. (Stella) Brooks; and one sister-in-law, Dot Pate. Many heartfelt thanks to the staff of the Essex House, Sue Swann and Judy Tolley. 

Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 5141 Dunbrooke Road, Tappahannock, VA 22560. Memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Cemetery Fund, 5141 Dunbrooke Rd., Tappahannock, Va.
