Anna Rew

Anna Wildberger Rew, age 108, passed away on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at Commonwealth Senior Living, Kilmarnock, VA. Anna was born in 1908 in Maryland to Henry and Blanche Wildberger. Anna was married to George Revel Rew in 1929. She lived a very long and active life. She deeply loved her family and she will be greatly missed.

Anna was predeceased by her husband, George Revel Rew; parents, Henry and Blanche Wildberger; daughter, Betty Ann Hillman; son, James A. Rew; and her grandson, Daniel Rew.

Anna is survived by her grandchildren; Julie A. Hillman, Valerie Hillman Hyer, Christopher T. Hillman, Chasen Hillman and Adam Rew: great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Rew Blocher, Kathryn Saulsburg and James Rew; great-great grandchildren, Braelynn Blocher, Emerson Saulsbury and Bowen Blocher; son-in-law Franklin L. Hillman and her brother, Bert Wildberger.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 11:00 am at the Heathsville United Methodist Church. The family would like to express their thanks and appreciation to the doctors and staff of Virginia Senior Living in Kilmarnock, VA.
