Anne Bristow

Anne Maria Daniel Bristow of Richmond, Virginia was born May 16, 1937 in Jamaica, VA and passed away January 28, 2013 at the age of 75. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Luther Morgan Bristow, Jr., and their five children Maria Stringer/Mike, Karen Yarbrough/Tim, Julie Rothwell/Steve, Luther Morgan Bristow, III and Betsy Bristow. Anne was the beloved grandmother of five, Chris, Danny and Heather Yarbrough, Julie Stringer Farrar and Dale Stringer. Anne was also the proud great-grandmother of Alissa Farrar. Also survived by sisters Lillian Oliver of Richmond and Patricia Wenger/Dwight of Fredericksburg and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents James H. and Helen Daniel and her brothers, Henry Daniel, Jr. and Paul Daniel. Anne was a very hardworking person who deeply loved her family and was loved by all who knew her. She was an excellent seamstress and enjoyed gardening, canning, quilting and relaxing at the river. Funeral Services will be held 2:30 PM Sunday, February 3, 2013 at Bristow-Faulkner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Saluda, VA. Interment Bethel Memorial Cemetery at Jamaica. The family will receive friends 2 hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
