Annie Jessie

Annie Irene Jessie, age 91, a devoted wife, mother and grandmother of Deltaville, Va., passed away on October 14, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, William “Ryland” Jessie, Sr., and her eldest son William R. Jessie, Jr. Mrs. Jessie is survived by her daughter, Suzanne Davis (Burton) of Heathsville; sons, Tommy Jessie (Gloria) of Richmond, Jimmie Jessie (Judy) of Hartfield; a daughter-in-law Carol C. Jessie, 7 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, October 18, 2013 in Clarksbury United Methodist Church, Deltaville. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church. Interment Zoar Baptist Church Cemetery, Deltaville, Va.
