Archie Stevens

Archie Sylvester “Peanut” Stevens, 69, of Syringa, beloved brother, uncle, and friend passed away on Wednesday, May 4, 2016. Peanut was a happy go lucky soul who will always be remembered for his big smile and jingling keys.  He loved NASCAR racing and dancing to any tune his feet could move to! Peanut was a devoted employee of VDOT until his time of retirement. Peanut leaves behind a brother, Franklin Stevens (Deborah) and a sister, Brenda Bristow, both of Topping, along with several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 2:00pm, Saturday, May 21st, at Lower United Methodist Church in Hartfield.  Arrangements by Bristow-Faulkner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Saluda.
