Audrey Mason

Audrey Mae White “Mae Mae” Mason, 84, of North, Virginia passed away at her home on Sunday, October 15, 2023. Audrey graduated from Mathews High School with the class of 1957. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Mathews after being a lifetime member of Macedonia Baptist Church in Foster, Virginia. Audrey was a charter member of West Mathews Community League which she helped organize in 1987. Audrey loved reading, sewing, playing the piano and writing.

She was predeceased by her parents, James Machen White and Vivian Garrett White; her sister, Betty Jane Miller (husband, Raymond); and a nephew, Jackie Miller.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Gordon Mason; her sons, Robbie and Jimmy Mason; a granddaughter, Taylor Mason; grandsons, Trent Mason (Gracie) and Tucker Mason; great-grandchildren, Audrey and Jack.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Faulkner Funeral Homes, Foster-Faulkner Chapel, Mathews, Virginia. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with burial to follow in Providence Cemetery.
