Barbara A. Cullom, 71, of Tappahannock, Virginia passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, September 8, 2019.
She is survived by her daughter, Meg Cullom-Levine, and preceded in death by her siblings, Gail and Bill.
She was a graduate of Notre Dame University, Howard University of Divinity, and Wesley University. She dedicated her life to working with patients in hospice care. While she suffered from mental illness and in later years, dementia, she created and nurtured community everywhere she went. That community was her family and they cared for her beyond words. May she be at peace knowing she brought laughter, enthusiasm of learning, and compassion into people’s lives.
