Barbara (Mawmaw) Shaw Willett left to be with the Lord on August 25, 2021. She was born January 23, 1939 in Durham, NC.
She retired from Home Insurance, Co. where she was a supervisor. She enjoyed fishing, cooking, sewing, camping, church, spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, beach trips, crafts and her favorite tv show: The Curse of Oak Island.
She is survived by her loving son, John G Willett Jr of Saluda VA; her favorite granddaughters, Tarhan Willett, and Taylor Belverio and husband John; 3 great grandchildren, Jaycie Belverio, Liam Brock, and Bennett Belverio; and her baby brother, Robert L Shaw Jr, and wife Sue of Kannapolis NC; and many friends.
Barbara was preceded in death by her father, Robert L Shaw Sr.; mother, Dahlia H Shaw of Sanford NC; and beloved husband, John (Gilbert) Willett Sr of Topping VA.
