Bertha Seay

Bertha J. Hayes Seay, 81, of Fredericksburg, formerly of Champlain, departed her life on June 10, 2024.
 
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry G. Hayes, and Grace B. Hayes.
 
She is survived by her son, Thomas Edward Hayes, of Caret; her daughter, Debra L. Seay of Fredericksburg; and one grandson, Elijah L. Walker of Fredericksburg; special nieces, Ruth and Kathy Hayes; and great niece, Edith Rapp. She was dearly loved by her family and friends.
 
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Upper Essex Baptist Church Cemetery, Caret. Faulkner Funeral Homes, Marks-Bristow Chapel, Tappahannock is assisting the family with arrangements.
