Betty Lou Roy Jessie

Betty Lou Roy Jessie passed away peacefully on the morning of Sunday, April 28, 2024.

Born June 21, 1934, she was a woman of heart, faith, and ambition. There wasn’t anything she couldn’t make or fix.  Her family was her truest pride and joy.  

Mrs. Jessie is survived by her children, Gene Jessie (Carol), John Jessie (Connie), Clyde Roy Jessie (Cathy) and Nancy Taylor (Fred); her grandchildren, Temple, Crystal, Elizabeth, Evelyn, Laura, Olivia and Allison; and her great-grandchildren, Matthew, Reagan, Gavin, Caroline, Camille, Gaige, Brooks, Logan, Raylan, and Roman.  Betty was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Eugene. She was a strong woman with a kind heart. 

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 5^th, 2024, from the chapel of Bristow-Faulkner Funeral Home with Pastor Scott Pollard officiating. 

Interment will follow at Salem Community Church Cemetery, 11408 Salem Church Rd., Gloucester, Va 23061.
