Betty Ann Cohen Pinchefsky, 82, of Locust Hill, passed away Sunday, July 19th, 2015 in Locust Hill, Virginia. She was born March 13, 1933 in Richmond, Virginia, to Jesse and Esther Cohen. She is survived by her husband Herbert Pinchefsky, whom she married on June 15, 1952. Also surviving are her sister Lois (Richard) Bloom; her two daughters, Marci Rochkind of Orlando, Florida and Janis Terpenny (Wally) of Ames, Iowa; her son, Steven Pinchefsky of Arlington; grandchildren, Esther (Jay) Elder, Jesse (Brandi) Rochkind, and Jonathan Terpenny; great grandsons, Nate and Eli Elder and Billy Cole. Betty Ann’s father and mother and one grandson, Jason Terpenny, preceded her in death. Betty Ann was a long time resident of Richmond and for the last 30 plus years lived in Deltaville and Locust Hill where she enjoyed being close to the water, small town life, community friendships, and the library in Deltaville where she volunteered for over 20 years. She loved to read, enjoyed card games and shopping. She also loved her cats, flowers and feeding birds. A celebration of her life will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, July 23 at the Bristow-Faulkner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 15 C.F. Edwards Lane, Saluda, VA 23149.
