Betty (Yvonne) Woodcock Vansickle, age 66, went home to be with her Lord Thursday, November 14, 2013. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She loved worshiping at Cornerstone Fellowship Church, where she was a faithful member.
She was a native of Richmond and a Gwynn's Island resident for the past 44 years.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Murchie and Vera Woodcock.
She is survived by her 2 daughters, Pam German and Bonnie Parker; a sister, Rita Woodcock Pollard and her husband Randy; a grandson, Brandon German and 2 newphews.
The family will receive friends on Monday, November 18, 2013 from 7 – 8:30 pm at Foster-Faulkner Funeral Home, Mathews, Virginia. A Funeral Service will be held in Cornerstone Fellowship Church on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at 2:00 pm with burial to follow in Gwynn's Island Cemetery.
