Biddie Jackson

Biddie Patricia Runyon Jackson, 61, of Chester, Virginia, was called home to be with the Lord on Friday, June 26, 2015, surrounded by her family. She was born on August 30, 1953 in Logan, West Virginia.  A loving wife and mother, her faith, kindness, love, and compassion has left an overwhelming and everlasting mark on this world.  She dedicated her life to serving the lord and her family.  She is preceded in death by her father, Don Runyon, and mother, Aloma McCoy Runyon.  She is survived by her husband of 42 years, George W. Jackson; son, John E. Jackson, his wife DeAnn, and their three children; Berkley, Faith, and Bryce, of Chester, VA, daughter, Aloma J. Holsten, her husband Brent, and their three children; Jackson, Addison, and Declan, of Henrico, VA, and Virginia D.J. Fink, her husband Jimmy, and their three children; Shelby, Koty, and Hope of Chesterfield, VA; four brothers, Don Runyon (Cindy) of Chester, VA, Ronald Runyon (Toney) of Delbarton, WV, David Runyon (Barbara) of Lake, WV, and Vernal Runyon (Kim) of Chapmanville, WV, and one sister, Tammy Elizabeth Hodge (Howard) of Delbarton WV, 18 nieces and nephews, and many great nieces and nephews.  Visitation will be held on Monday, June, 29th, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Bristow-Faulkner Funeral Home in Saluda, Va. The funeral will be held on Tuesday, June 30th, starting at 1 p.m. at Clarksbury United Methodist Church in Deltaville, VA.  In lieu of flowers please send donations to the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund www.ocrf.org or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital which was a cause dear to her heart that she donated to every month www.stjude.org
