Catharine Bunting

Catharine Jones Bunting (Teetie), age 90, of Urbanna, VA died Friday, February 2, 2018. She was a lifelong member of Christ Church Episcopal, Middlesex, where she was a member of the Episcopal Church Women (ECW) and served on the Altar Guild for many years.  Catharine spent 25 years as an employee of the U.S. Postal Service in the Christchurch and Urbanna offices until her retirement in 1992. She enjoyed living on the water, reading and spending time with family and friends.

Preceded in death by her parents, Elsie Palmer and Edward Cary Jones, and sisters, Majorie Jones Mapp and Cary Jones Hoy. She is survived by her four children, Jere Bunting III (Meda), Cary B. Farr (Ronnie), Edward R. Bunting (Debbie), Margaret B. Ward (Randy); eleven grandchildren, Jeremy, Jonathan, Gregory, Meredith, Paige, Rob, Haley, McKenzie, Payton, Sara, and Parker; five great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and loving caregivers Katherlon, Lucy, and Renetta.

Funeral services will be held 2:00pm on Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2018 at Christ Church Episcopal, Middlesex.
