Catherine W. Garrett, 91, of Mathews, Virginia passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2020. She attended Emmanuel Methodist Church and worked as a clerk for Richardson’s Drug Store and Hudgins Pharmacy. She was an accomplished seamstress, excellent cook and she loved to bowl.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, G. Willard Garrett and her parents Alton and Bessie White. She is survived by her daughters Wendy H. Owens and Cathy G. White; 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
There will be a private memorial service at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Riverside Hospice, 7358 Main Street, Gloucester, VA 23061. Faulkner Funeral Homes, Foster-Faulkner Chapel, Mathews, Virginia is assisting the family.
