Charles C. Bunting, 85, of Port Haywood, Virginia passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 2, 2018. He was an animal lover and an avid horticulturist. He was a member of St. Mathews United Methodist Church, Mathews, Virginia.
He is survived by his wife, Cora Bunting; one daughter and a son; six step-children; his grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was also survived by two brothers and his three pet kitty-cats.
A Funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 6, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Bethel United Methodist Church, Onemo, Virginia. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow at H. C. Smither Cemetery, Hudgins, Virginia.
Memorial donations may be made to the Gloucester-Mathews Humane Society, P.P. Box 385, Gloucester, Virginia 23061. Faulkner Funeral Homes, Foster-Faulkner Chapel, Mathews, Virginia is assisting the family with the arrangements.
