Charles Dunlevy

Charles W. Dunlevy, Sr., age 77, of Topping died Thursday, February 7, 2013. He was a retired foreman having worked on marine construction projects from Norfolk to Boston, MA. Charlie was a member of Harmony Grove Baptist Church and local union 2311, Washington D.C. He was predeceased by his parents, Marvin and Lillian Dunlevy, a brother Hugh and a half brother, Bobby. Survived by his wife Shirley R. Dunlevy; children, Sheila R. Thacker (Robert), Charles W. “Bunny” Dunlevy, Jr. (Jan), Keith H. Dunlevy (Denise). Grandchildren, Charles Dale Dunlevy, Judson Dunlevy, Donncuan Dunlevy, Lauren Wells, Eugene Dunlevy and Julian Thacker. Great grandchildren, Ariana Dunlevy, Brooklyn Dunlevy and Charles David “Charlie” Dunlevy. Sisters, Elizabeth Hurley, Annie Lee Thomas, Marie Bryant, Jean Dutton, Virginia Kelly, Patricia Jackson, brother, Johnny Dunlevy. Funeral services will be held 3pm Sunday, February 10th in Harmony Grove Baptist Church, Topping. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8pm Saturday (tonight) at Bristow-Faulkner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Saluda.
