Charles Hogge

Charles Lannie Hogge, 87, of Water View, passed away Friday, January 5, 2018.  Charles was born in Samos to James and Coppie Hogge on February 2, 1930. He was predeceased by his loving wife Shirley of 65 years, his two brothers Gene and Donald and two sisters Ann Hatton and Eleanor Hooper. Charles is survived by his daughter Teresa Rainier (James) and granddaughter Blair Edwards (Bradley). Charles was a true hunter. There was nothing he loved more than to hear the roar of a good pack of hounds. He was a proud family man; he loved to watch his family show horses even if it was looking at a video to offer his opinion. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, January 14, at Hermitage Baptist Church, Church View. Arrangements by Faulkner Funeral Homes, Bristow-Faulkner Chapel, Saluda.
