Christen Jamie Booher, 30, of Northern Virginia passed away of natural causes on Friday, October 12, 2018. A 2015 graduate of George Mason University, Christen’s family and friends remember her as a beautiful person with a keen sense of adventure, a kind heart and a smile always on her face. Christen was a nature and animal enthusiast who loved to travel. She was an avid Cowboys fan with a contagious laugh, and at her happiest while spending time with family and friends, playing softball, and working on her family’s land in Essex, VA.
Christen is survived by her parents, Lindsay and Patricia Howard Booher; her brother, Lindsay Christopher Booher and sister in law Patricia Clare Booher of Stafford; nephew, Christopher Lindsay Booher; paternal grandmother, Irmgard Richardson of Newport News; aunt, Carroll Wellford of Warsaw; three uncles, Jack (Jennifer) Howard of Mechanicsville, Michael (Laura) Howard of Vacaville, CA and Ron (Rosita) Booher of Mesa, AZ and a number of cousins.
A Funeral Mass will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at St. Timothy’s Catholic Church in Tappahannock, Virginia. Interment will be private.
