Clarence Edward Milby (Buck) 83, went to be with the Lord on October 28, 2016. He was born on June 24, 1933 to Thomas and Kate Milby. He was retired from the Chesapeake Corporation and a member of First Assembly of God at Shacklefords. He also served in the U.S. Army from 1953-1955. He was preceded in death by his son, Curtis McKenny Milby. He is survived by his wife, Julia Hall Milby; son Clarence E. Milby Jr. of Hartfield, VA; daughter Elaine Pollard (Scott) of Warsaw, VA; four grandchildren, Daniel Pollard of Virginia Beach, VA, Caleb Pollard of Warsaw, VA, Sarai Pollard of Kill Devil Hills, NC, and Thomas Lee Milby (Becky) of Urbanna; one great granddaughter Olive Pollard; and three sisters, Mildred Hall of Glenns, VA, Thelma Bareford of Mechanicsville, VA, and Myrtle Ambrose of Dunnsville, VA. Funeral services will be held 3p.m., Sunday, October 30, at Bristow-Faulkner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Saluda. Interment will follow at New Hope United Methodist Church Cemetery in Gloucester County, VA. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
