Courtland "Cory" Benson

Courtland “Cory” Benson, 36, of Tappahannock, formerly of Maryland, passed away on Wednesday, December 8, 2021. Cory worked as a contractor for Virginia Building Solutions. Before he passed away, he came to know the Lord, which has been the greatest gift his family could have asked for.
Cory is preceded in death by his grandparents, Arthur Joseph Emory and Jean Powell Emory; and his uncle, Arthur Michael Emory.
He is survived by his mother, Theresa Emory; father, Douglas Benson; and many cousins and friends.
Interment will be held on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Silver Spring, Maryland. Faulkner Funeral Homes, Marks- Bristow Chapel, Tappahannock, VA, is assisting the family with arrangements.
