Craig Ruliffson

November 28, 1967 — April 12, 2017

Craig James Ruliffson, 49, of Hudgins, VA passed away peacefully on April 12th., surrounded by his parents and sister, knowing he was loved. Craig was so much like his father, both of whom loved the simple things. He loved the joy of hiking the Grand Canyon as a youngster in the 4th. grade, with his class and his dad. He was always exploring and always very active. He was happiest when he was with family and friends. He'll be missed greatly by so many. Craig is survived by his parents, Jim and Sharon Ruliffson of Hudgins, VA; his sister, Lisa Nelson of Gwynn's Island and her fiancée, Larry Stanley of Manassas, VA; nephew, Charles Russo; niece, Christy (Russo) and husband Jimi Williams; nieces, Katie Nelson, Kelly Nelson, aunts, uncles, fun-loving cousins and his beloved dog "Harley". A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date with family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either the Gloucester-Mathews Humane Society or to the Mathews Vol. Rescue Squad. A Major "Thank You" is in order for Riverside-Walter Reed Hospital, Riverside Home Health Care and Riverside Hospice as follows" Dr.'s Kemp, Khreis, Long ( and especially nurse Carla) and Gretes for their sincere caring and advice. A special thanks to Riverside paracentisis- Mary Anne and her co-workers. A very special thanks to Home Health nurse, Glenda for her caring support.
