Crystal Dawn Mann-Bushong

Crystal Dawn Mann-Bushong, born on July 8, 1980, in Richmond, VA, entered the heavenly gates on April 8, 2025, in Hartfield, VA, surrounded by her loving family. She was the cherished daughter of Dennis Mann and Kathy Whitt Perry.

Crystal married her soulmate, Frankie Bushong, on May 2, 2024, after creating nearly a decade of unforgettable memories together. Their home was a haven of warmth and laughter, filled with the joy of their 5 combined children and the recent addition of their 2 granddaughters. Crystal’s most treasured role in life was that of a devoted grammy.

Her unwavering faith and love for the Lord inspired countless lives. With a gentle touch, she guided many lives to Christ, shining as a beacon of hope and spirituality. Crystal found solace in her church family at White Stone Church of the Nazarene and cherished her Bible study group.

As a proud William & Mary School of Business alumni, Crystal embodied an entrepreneurial spirit and often joked about opening a pug café. Her free time was spent basking in the serenity of the beach where she found peace and tranquility. She also delighted in nurturing her gardens eagerly anticipating each harvest.

Crystal’s life was a testament to her roles as a daughter, wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, niece, cousin and friend to many. As we mourn her passing, we also celebrate her extraordinary life, the love she shared, and the profound impact she had on all who knew her.

Crystal was preceded in death by her grandparents, James and Virginia Mann, Richard and Dorothy Whitt, and Uncles Reeves Whitt and Howard Busbee. She is survived by her Father Dennis Mann and wife Becky, her Mother Kathy Whitt Perry and husband Ronnie, her husband Frankie Bushong, her children Lucas Nunnally, Dylan MacWelch, Brennah Bushong, Hannah Bushong and Landon Bushong, and granddaughters Willow and River. Her legacy lives on through her Brother Chris Mann (April), nieces Reagan and Izzy Mann, nephew James Mann, Aunt Mary Busbee, Uncle Spencer Whitt (Debby), Anne Frances Del Guidice, stepsiblings Brandy Waters (James), Jason Perry, Kirstin McKay (Tim), Travis French (Sarah) and her beloved fur babies Winston, Mosely and Sophie,

A celebration of Crystal’s life will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at 3:00pm at the White Stone Church of the Nazarene where family and friends will gather to honor her memory and cherish her life. In lieu of flowers the family kindly requests donations to the White Stone Church of the Nazarene in memory of Crystal Mann-Bushong, 57 Whisk Dr, White Stone, VA 22578.

Our hearts go out to Crystal’s family at this difficult time. May they find comfort in the love and support of family and friends and may Crystal’s memory be a blessing to us all. Rest in peace, dear Crystal, you will be forever missed and never forgotten.
