David Lee Harmon, 54, of Deltaville passed away unexpectedly Sunday March 25, 2012. He was born July 13, 1957 in Nassawadox, Va. He was preceded in death by his father Billy Bradford Harmon. He is survived by his beloved wife Jo Ann Miller Harmon, his mother Rose Ann Harmon, three brothers, a sister, one nephew, a stepdaughter and three step grandchildren.
Dave retired from the Middle Peninsula Regional Security Center where he served as Superintendant for 20 years from 1989 to 2009. He will be remembered by those whose lives he touched with his quick smile, gentle manner, kindness and his love for animals. A memorial service will be held at Urbanna United Methodist Church, where he was a much loved and dedicated member, on Sunday April 1, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers contributions in memory of Dave may be made to Friends For Life, P.O. Box 428, Saluda, Va 23149 or Middlesex Vol. Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 98, Deltaville, Va. 23043. Arrangements by Bristow-Faulkner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Saluda.
