Denville William (Hoopy) Davis

Hoopy, Denville William Davis, 64, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 7, 2023. Hoopy was born in Tappahannock but spent most of his life in Mathews, VA. Hoopy was a mechanic for many years and is best known for his wit and sense of humor. He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter Lana Booth (James) and granddaughters Makayla, Makenzie, and Makenna. He is also survived by brothers John Davis (Doris), J.D. Hubbard, and Roger Hubbard (Crystal) and many special family members and friends. .

The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 10, 2023 from 5:00 to 6:30pm at Faulkner Funeral Homes, Foster-Faulkner Chapel, Mathews, Virginia. A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 11, 2023 at 2:00pm in St. Paul Annex Cemetery, Susan Virginia 23163.
