Donna Lee Cobb

Donna Lee Cobb, age 85, departed this earth the same date as her husband’s, Robert Cobb, passing back in 2013 on April 1st, 2025. She worked extremely hard in life and was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

She was Born in the state of Pennsylvania on November 13th, 1939, to Ethel Sweitzer and Robert Sweitzer. She received her Degree in Social Work which led her to win multiple cases in court as a social worker for Fairfax County, Virginia, over the course of 30 years. Once retired, she drove a school bus for the Fairfax County Public Schools. She inherited a plot of family land from her mother located in Tappahannock, Virginia. Shortly after creating her own layout of her home on the land, she moved and became a bus driver for Aylett Country Day School. She loved Celtic and classical music. She absolutely loved watching the birds in her backyard with her spoiled kitty cats. She was very fond of going to see plays and musicals.

She is survived by her son, Phillip Cobb and granddaughter, Ashleigh Cobb. She made sure her granddaughter was more than just taken care of, she was loved dearly, and that sacrifice is something that will never be forgotten.
