Doris Loving

Doris T. Loving, of Urbanna, passed away Friday, May 9, 2014. She was the widow of Sanford B. Loving and she was born August 14, 1914 in Caroline County. She was predeceased by one daughter, Pearl L. Bazacos and two sons Earl H. Loving and Ronald (Ronnie) Loving. She was a member of Urbanna United Methodist Church and very active in the Care Group of the church and was employed by Marshall’s Drug Store for over 30 years. In her retirement years, she devoted her time to making shawls for cancer patients. She is survived by her daughter Barbara L. (Rudolph) Shackelford, of Urbanna and two sons Willard (Bear) Loving of Urbanna and Marshall G. (Susan) Loving of Hartsville, SC; 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, May 12th in Urbanna United Methodist Church, Urbanna. Interment Middlesex Memorial Cemetery, Urbanna.
