Dorothy Kegley

Dorothy J. Kegley, 80, of Urbanna, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 7, 2016. She retired from Prince George County, MD School Board in the late 80’s and then went on to become a secretary for Middlesex County School Board along with helping at Bristow’s Store and Marshalls Drugstore in Urbanna. She was a member of Urbanna United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward O. Kegley, Sr., and is survived by her children, Edward O. Kegley, Jr. of Springfield, Charlotte A. Shoaff of Coles Point, Karen M. Alexander of Camden, DE, David C. Kegley of Urbanna and Trina Charnock of King and Queen; a brother Ross Younkin; 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 11AM, Saturday, May 14th in Urbanna United Methodist Church. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends from 6-8PM Friday at Bristow-Faulkner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Saluda. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Urbanna United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 217, Urbanna, VA 23175.
