Douglas Ashberry

Douglas Norman Ashberry, 65, of Mathews, Virginia passed away at his home on Monday, August 10, 2020. He was a member of Mathews Baptist Church and Poplar Neck Hunt Club. He worked at the Naval Weapons Station for 27 years and retired in 2007.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Ashberry; two daughters, Amy Ashberry and Megan Ashberry both of Mathews; and a sister, Eileen Lemon of Bedford, Virginia.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 12th from 6 – 8 p.m. at Foster-Faulkner Chapel, Mathews, Virginia. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, August 13th at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with burial to follow in H. C. Smither Cemetery, Hudgins, Virginia.
