Eleanor Orrell

Eleanor Bane Correll Orrell, 92, of Staunton, Virginia passed away on Friday, December 30, 2016. She was the widow of Rev. Julian S. Orrell. She is survived by two daughters, Nancy O. Leake (Terry) and Frances Vest (Mike); a son, Tom Orrell (Brenda); 5 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, and nephews. A Funeral Service was held on Monday, January 2, 2017at 11:00 am at Gwynn's Island Baptist Church. Visitation was one hour prior to service. Burial followed in Gywnn's Island Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Matthew S. Crittenden Scholarship Fund, c/o Fran Miller, 356 Healy Creek Drive, Hardyville, Virginia 23070. Foster-Faulkner Funeral Home, Mathews, Virginia was in charge of the arrangements.
