Elizabeth E. Haufler (Beth), age 66, of both Richmond and Mathews, VA, sadly passed away Tuesday, October 24th, 2023 after a short struggle with cancer.
She is survived by her father, Edwin Haufler (Ed); siblings, Charles D. Lang (David), Robert E. Haufler (Bob) and his wife Maggie, Timothy R. Haufler (Tim), Julie A. Willaford and her husband, Paul; many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends; and lastly her dog, Bandit.
Beth was preceded in death by her adoring friend of 23 years, fiancé Kelley Richardson, and her beloved mother, Dorothy Haufler (Dot).
Beth was very loyal and devoted to anything and everything she cared about - she never missed a single day of school from kindergarten through high school. Beth was best known for her ability to find fun in almost anything; she had a heart of gold and loved people. Her ability to make you laugh and feel good about yourself was unsurpassed. Beth was the one you always wanted in your corner; she would fight for you until the end. The hole in our lives and hearts left by her passing is unmendable and can only be consoled by continuing her legacy of love and laughter.
The family would like to thank Riverside hospice, Home Health Caregivers Glenda, Shannon, Ashlyn and April. Without these compassionate skilled professionals, we would not have known what to do in the final days to make Beth more comfortable.
A private service is planned for the immediate family. Faulkner Funeral Homes, Foster-Faulkner Chapel, Mathews, Virginia is assisting the family.
