Elizabeth Bozeman “Bet” Stokes, 70, of Tappahannock passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2018. Bet is survived by her husband, Jack C. Stokes; her son, Thomas L. Brooks of Georgia; one brother, Joseph Bozeman, Jr. of Butylo; one sister, Harriett (Oliver) Campbell of Madison; a number of nieces and nephews; one step-son, Jack C. Stokes, Jr. of Dunnsville; two step-daughters, Angela Martin of DeSha and Jennifer Packett of Tappahannock; four step-grandchildren. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Essex Animal Shelter, 540 Airport RD, Tappahannock, VA 22560.
