Emily Winder

Emily Virginia Winder, age 99, of Hudgins, Virginia passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at the Culpepper Baptist Retirement Community in Culpepper, Virginia. She was a member of Mathews Baptist Church and Oriental Chapter No. 30, OES. She is preceded in death by her husband, Leslie Hilton Winder. She is survived by her daughter, Jean Drennan and her husband Arthur of Colfax, NC; a grandson, Paul Drennan of West Granby, Connecticut; a granddaughter, Leslie Russell of Omaha, Nebraska; six great- grandchildren, Megan, Erin, Michael, Conor, Ryan, Cecilia. The family will receive friends Thursday, September 24, 2015 from 6:30 – 8:00 pm with an Eastern Star Service at 6:00 pm at Foster-Faulkner Funeral Home, Mathews, Virginia. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 25, 2015 at 1:30 pm at Mathews Baptist Church, Hudgins, Virginia. Burial will follow the service at H. C. Smither Cemetery.
