Forrest Morgan

Forrest C. Morgan, born May 5, 1929, passed peacefully at home on April 28, 2016 after a short battle with cancer at the age of 86. He served in the U. S. Army and the Army National Guard for 37 years before retiring and working Civil Service at Fort Monroe. He then worked at Middlesex Farm Supply for a number of years. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and an active member of Mathews Chapel Church. He was proceeded in death by his parents, Clara and Wilford "Butts" Morgan, brothers, Paul and Clyde and sister-in-law, Rose. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Marilyn "Ducky", son Keith, daughter-in-law Carol, granddaughter Lindsay and many more family and friends.

The visitation will be held at Mathews Chapel Church, Cobbs Creek, Va. Friday, April 29, 2016 from 7:00 until 8:30 pm. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at 1:00 pm, also at Mathews Chapel and burial to follow at Windsor Gardens.
