Frances Hargus

Frances M. Hargus, age 71, of Wake, a retired Bookkeeper/Secretary, died Tuesday, July 15, 2014 after a courageous 17 year battle with COPD. She was a member of Harmony Grove Baptist Church where she played the piano for a number of years. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Clarence C. Hargus, one daughter, Debbie Hargus of Salem; one son, Scott Hargus (Cheryl) of Appomattox; 2 grandchildren, Christy and Daniel and one brother, Edward Monfalcone (Linda) of Gloucester. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 18th, in Harmony Grove Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church. Interment church cemetery.
