George Flores

September 28, 1928 — January 12, 2014

George Oscar Flores (Lanky), 85, of Moon, went to meet the Lord on Jan. 12, 2014.

Lanky was a dedicated fire chief for the Panama Canal Zone. He was a member of the Elks Lodge in Titusville, Fla., and the American Legion, an avid HAM radio operator, and an animal lover.

He is survived by his wife, Judith Flores; his daughter, Lori Roche; his stepchildren, Tiffany Ratliff and Sheldon Rowley, and his grandchildren, Darren Roche, Lauren Roche, Morgan Farmer and Jessye Creekmore, Cooper and Kathryn Rowley.
