George Pierce

George Neville Pierce, 69, of Glenns, VA died peacefully at home on Saturday, January, 19, 2013. He was a lifetime member of New Hope United Methodist Church and a proud grandfather of four grandsons. He is a graduate of Pleasant Hill High School, a veteran of the United States Army, retired from VDOT, and an avid Golf enthusiast.

Neville was preceded in death by his parents, Franklin and Sue Pierce and a brother, Philip. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Jackie; daughters, Carmen Best (Joe), and Susanne Robinson (Jason), and son, Marshall Pierce (Ashley); grandsons, Logan Robinson, Hunter Pierce, Liam Robinson, and Isaac Best; brothers, James Pierce (Mary) and Mac Pierce (Paula); nephews, Jef Pierce and Ryan Pierce.

The family will receive friends from 6-8pm on Wednesday, January 23rd at Bristow-Faulkner Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Saluda, VA.

A funeral service will be held 11:00am on Thursday, January 24th in the New Hope United Methodist Church, Gloucester County, VA.  Interment Church Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the New Hope United Methodist Church, 2466 LB Puller Mem.
