George Neville Pierce, 69, of Glenns, VA died peacefully at home on Saturday, January, 19, 2013. He was a lifetime member of New Hope United Methodist Church and a proud grandfather of four grandsons. He is a graduate of Pleasant Hill High School, a veteran of the United States Army, retired from VDOT, and an avid Golf enthusiast.
Neville was preceded in death by his parents, Franklin and Sue Pierce and a brother, Philip. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Jackie; daughters, Carmen Best (Joe), and Susanne Robinson (Jason), and son, Marshall Pierce (Ashley); grandsons, Logan Robinson, Hunter Pierce, Liam Robinson, and Isaac Best; brothers, James Pierce (Mary) and Mac Pierce (Paula); nephews, Jef Pierce and Ryan Pierce.
The family will receive friends from 6-8pm on Wednesday, January 23rd at Bristow-Faulkner Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Saluda, VA.
A funeral service will be held 11:00am on Thursday, January 24th in the New Hope United Methodist Church, Gloucester County, VA. Interment Church Cemetery.
