George Ruark

George Henry Ruark, age 63, of Deltaville passed away on Wednesday, January 14, 2015. George was employed by ExxonMobil for over thirty years with their oil tanker division. He was predeceased by his wife Diane S. Ruark, his parents, Talmadge and Evelyn Ruark and a sister Jean Mae Jackson. George is survived by a brother, David Ruark (Teresa); two step-sons, Keith and Gregory Price; two step-grandchildren, Scott and Amanda Price; a niece, Rebecca Ruark; a nephew, Marshall Jackson; a uncle, Charles A. “Duckie” Ruark and a close friend/caregiver, Peggy Lanier. A memorial service will be held at Bristow-Faulkner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Saluda at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 20, 2015. A time of visitation and remembrance will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be private at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Zoar Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 1010, Deltaville, VA 23043.
