George C. Smith, Sr. passed over on Saturday, April 5th. at the age of 93. He was predeceased by his parents, Floyd R and Virginia H. Smith; his wife, Virginia Ruth; son, Jerry Allen and a brother, Garland.
He retired from Fort Monroe, N.S.W.C. Left to cherish his wonderful memories are his son, George Smith, Jr. (Donna); a daughter, Beverly Driscoll (Danny); 5 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 3 great, great-grandchildren.
A celebration of his life will be held at Foster-Faulkner Funeral Home, Mathews, Virginia on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at 11:00 am.
