George Edward “Gabby” West, 62, of New Point, Virginia passed away on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at his home.
He spent over 30 years as a waterman and was an avid NASCAR fan and loved working on and driving fast cars.
He was predeceased by his parents, Lewis and Earline West; sisters, Wilma Lee West and Patsy Kline Hudgins; and brothers, Lewis Franklin West, Kenny Ray West, Herman Lee West and Al Sinley West.
He is survived by his wife, Kathryn L. West; sons, Kenny Lee West and Cash West; sisters, Sarah Frances Crockett, Nellie Mae Whitley and Rose Marie Woodhouse; a brother, John Earl West and his special dog Angel.
No services are scheduled at this time. Faulkner Funeral Homes, Foster-Faulkner Chapel, Mathews, Virginia is assisting the family.
