Gerald Lee Ware

Mr. Gerald Lee Ware, 87, of Jamaica, passed away on September 23, 2024. Mr. Ware was born October 5, 1936, the son of the late Samuel and Rydie Ware. Mr. Ware proudly served his community as the owner and operator of Ware’s Servicenter, LC. for more than 65 years. Gerald loved going to classic car shows, gardening and working long hours at his shop. He attended Churchview School, prior to joining the working world. 

In addition to his parents, Mr. Ware was preceded in death by his wife, JoAnn Balderson Ware. 

He is survived by his three sons, Curtis (Beverly), Samuel (Diane) and David (Sarah); grandchildren, Kashae and Airiana Beverley and his great-granddaughter, Skylar Beverley.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 27, 2024, at Glebe Landing Baptist Church. The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 26, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Bristow-Faulkner Funeral Home.
