Gloria Mitchell

Gloria Armstead Mitchell, 86, of Wake, Virginia passed away Saturday, February 27, 2016. Gloria was the widow of Walter H. Mitchell, Sr. She is survived by daughters, Jackie Slahor, Kathy Nunnally and Wanda Miller; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren as well as brother, Woodson Armstead. She was preceded in death by her sons, Butch and Mark Mitchell. Gloria was an avid bowler and also enjoyed fishing and crocheting. Funeral services will be held 2p.m., Thursday, March 3, 2016 at Bristow-Faulkner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Saluda, with visitation being held one hour prior to service time. Interment Lower United Methodist Church Cemetery, Hartfield.
