Harrison Langford Leach of Deltaville died on Thursday, June 28, 2012. Harry was born in Fayetteville, GA on May 7, 1923. He was a graduate of Georgia Tech and was a Navy pilot, one of the youngest in WWII. He flew torpedo bombers off a carrier in the North Atlantic. He was later a flight instructor during the Korean Conflict. After the War, he worked many years for pharmaceutical companies. At the time of his retirement, he was Executive Director of Care Drugs. He is survived by his loving wife, Fay and five wonderful daughters, Jalah Pace, Brooke Shafner, Kim Bradley, Dawn Gaskill and Joy Ayers; and five grandchildren; Aubrey Atkinson, John Pace, Dawson Pace, Heather Pace and Jason Pace; a great-granddaughter, Brittany and one great-greatgrandson, Brantly. Harry was loved by many friends in the Deltaville area. He was a member of the Middlesex Lions Club and Philippi Christian Church. He helped a lot of people through a 12 step recovery program. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, July 27th at Bristow-Faulkner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Saluda.
