Harry F. Foster, age 92, passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2014 at his home. Mr. Foster was a native of Mathews County, VA and a resident of Pasadena, MD for 56 years. He was a machinist at Armco Steel in Baltimore for 41 years. He served in WW II with the 124th. Calvary. He was a member of the American Legion, VFW and the Masonic Lodge 209.
He is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Lillian S. Foster; children, Neal Foster and wife, Jan, W. Dale Foster and husband, J. Andrew Mason of Washington Co., MD; a sister, E. Ruth Smith of MA; grandsons, Robert D. Foster (Dawn), James D. Foster (Laurel) and numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the West Mathews Community League, P.O. Box 162, North, VA 23128 or to a charity of your choice. Foster-Faulkner Funeral Home, Mathews, VA, is in charge of the arrangements.
